EA Installation Guide
This guide is for MetaTrader 5 on a computer or VPS. Follow the steps in order.
Requirements
- An MT5 hedging account at any broker.
- On other brokers, the EA will not be allowed to open new orders.
- Use an XAUUSD chart (the symbol name differs by broker, for example XAUUSD, XAUUSD.sc, XAUUSDc).
- A stable internet connection. A VPS is recommended so the EA runs without interruption.
1. Download
- Log in and open Downloads.
- Press the download button for your EA. The link is valid for 5 minutes only; if it expires, request a new link.
- The 12-month licence term starts at the first download of that EA.
- Copy your licence key from the Licences page.
2. Place the EA file
- In MT5: File > Open Data Folder.
- Open
MQL5 > Expertsand place the.ex5file here. - Go back to MT5, right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh.
3. Allow connection to the licence server (required)
- Tools > Options > Expert Advisors.
- Tick Allow algorithmic trading and Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
- Add the address:
https://ea.ncta.my - Press OK.
Without this step the EA cannot verify its licence and will not open orders.
4. Attach to a chart
- Open an XAUUSD chart.
- Drag the EA from the Navigator onto the chart.
- On the Inputs tab, paste your licence key in the licence key field (
InpNctaLicenseKey). - Set the lot size and other parameters according to your risk. Start on a demo or cent account with small lots.
- On the Common tab, tick Allow Algo Trading, then OK.
- Make sure the Algo Trading button in the top MT5 bar is green.
5. Check the licence status
The panel on the chart shows the licence status. If the status is not valid:
| Status | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Valid | The licence is active and bound to this account | None |
| Unknown | The server could not be reached yet | Check WebRequest and your internet; the EA keeps working for up to 72 hours from the last successful check |
| Invalid | Wrong key, unsupported broker or account limit | Check the key, broker and number of accounts |
| Expired / Revoked | The licence has expired or been revoked | Renew or contact support |
Accounts and limits
- Each user can bind up to 10 real accounts per broker (maximum 40 in total). Demo accounts are not counted.
- An account is bound automatically when the EA starts running on a new account.
- To change accounts, remove the old account on the Licences page.
When a licence expires or is revoked
The EA cancels pending orders and does not open new orders. Most EAs continue to manage open positions until they close. FlipGrid and SuperFlip GavanZ close all positions and orders immediately. Renew your licence before it expires to avoid this.
Warning
An EA is a trading tool, not a guarantee of profit. Read the Risk Disclosure before using real money.
